Very old Logis with large fireplaces at the gates of Saumur
La Croix de la Voulte is a very old rendez-vous of the Royal Hunt built from the 15th to the end of the 17th century. The hunting of the Kings of France met there before turning back; “faire voulte” means “turn back” in old French. The property is made up of several dwellings in white Loire stone (tuffeau), located around a large shaded and flowery courtyard. Rooms with period furnishings and modern comfort.
