The château is located less than 3 kilometers from the historic district of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, with its large beach, and from the Spanish border. It has belonged to the same family since 1341. It was enlarged in the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries. Louis XI stayed there in 1463 and Louis XIV made the estate a viscount in 1654. Soult and Wellington went there in 1813. Entirely renovated and decorated with furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries, it offers its guests a beautiful 6-hectare park and a large outdoor swimming pool.
