A historic manor, former priory to the Abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel, founded in 1137 by Bernard le Vénérable, Abbot of the Mont-Saint-Michel.
Many great royal figures have stayed at the Manoir de Brion during their pilgrimage to Mont-Saint-Michel, including King Charles VI in 1393, Louis XI in 1462 and François 1er in 1532.
