This former castle (11th to 15th centuries), built on an exceptional site overlooking the Loudun plain, belonged to the Plantagenets. The property, which is situated near Fontevraud and the Loire Châteaux, within the triangle formed by Chinon, Saumur and Loudun, is a quiet, peaceful place to stay. It has been entirely renovated inside to offer all modern comforts, whilst retaining the charm of yesteryear with its period furniture.
