This delightful 18th century family residence, where Elie and Anne Crouan will welcome you whole-heartedly, is a veritable haven of peace and tranquility, set in a warm and comfortable environment. For just one night or a longer stay, sitting by the fire or strolling in the gardens, you will discover a château where the words "charm" and "gentle life" are given their fullest meaning.

We offer ...

Suites and rooms from 100 to 250 € (for 2 people), additional person 15 €. French breakfast included. Candle-lit dinner: 30, 45 and 70 € per person.

  • Accommodations : 2 suites and 3 rooms extremely calm and spacious bedrooms with a private bathroom and/or shower and wc, period furniture, canopied four-poster beds, a fireplace in each room with views over the grounds and gardens, double exposure for the Caroline and Pierre Loti rooms. Thanks to their choice of furniture or decorations, all conjure up warm memories of family life.
  • Restaurants : Table d'hôte meals are available upon reservation: a candle-lit dinner served with vegetales from the kitchen garden and initiation into regional wines. A "prestige dinner" is served upon request.

Getting here ...

From Paris: take the A11 motorway, and leave at the Durtal exit. Drive through the village towards Angers, cross the bridge over the river Loir and, 200 metres after the bridge, turn left towards Baugé. Continue for another 300 metres and then turn right towards Jarzé. Drive another 3 kilomètres (2 miles) and you will come to Château de Chambiers on the left.
