Château du Rozel

Nelly et Pierre GUERBOIS

The château, which is situated 1 km from the sea and faces the Channel Islands, originally belonged to Bertrand de Rozel, a companion of William the Conqueror. A large extension was built in the 17th century, making the site look like a village nestling behind the ramparts, with its own bakery, laundry and press-house. The estate also includes 6 hectares of grounds, with woods, river and a large enclosed garden full of flowers.
